Do you offer Travel Insurance?

Yes we offer travel insurance through iTravel Insured, a wholly owned subsidiary of International Medical Group®, Inc. (IMG®), a worldwide leader in designing, distributing and administering global health care benefits. Coverage is currently offered only to US residents.

What makes this Travel Insurance different?

  • It can be purchased after final payment & up to 24 hours before check in.
  • Travel companions would be insured under the covered reservation.

Is it possible to insure pre-existing medical conditions?

Yes. iTravelInsured offers a waiver if the policy is purchased within 20 days of your initial trip payment and you are medically able to travel at the time the coverage is purchased.

The exclusion for Pre-Existing Condition will be waived provided:

a. Your Payment or Deposit for this Policy and enrollment form are received within 20 days of the date of Your Initial Payment or Deposit for Your Trip is received; and

b. You are not disabled from travel at the time Your premium is paid.

How much does the Travel Insurance Cost?

What if I don't want Travel Insurance?

We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance to cover any and all unforeseen events.

However, if you do not want to purchase travel insurance, we now offer an in-house VIR Future Stay Plan.

What is the 'VIR Future Stay Plan'

THE ‘VIR FUTURE STAY PLAN’ IS NOT INSURANCE

Many of our guests have expressed an interest in a plan that is NOT insurance, but allows guests to use a portion of paid monies towards a future stay with VIR.

How does the 'VIR Future Stay Plan' work?

If you have to cancel your vacation, or choose to cancel your vacation for any reason – yes, any reason at all – we will convert 80% of the total amounts paid to VIR at the date of cancellation to a virtual gift card which can be used towards a future stay with VIR.

When can I add the 'VIR Future Stay Plan' to my booking?

You can add the plan at any time up until 24 hours prior to arrival.

How do I redeem my 'VIR Future Stay Plan' on a future booking?

When you are ready to rebook, call us on (800) 757-5719 and we will be able to apply the gift card to your new reservation reducing the balance. If there is any balance left over, it will remain available for your use at a later date.

Do the virtual gift cards expire?

Yes, the virtual gift cards expire 12 months after they are activated.

Can I cash in the virtual gift card for money instead?

The total cash value of the gift card is USD $1. You are more than welcome to cash in the card for money instead. Once cashed in, the balance on the card will be $0.

How much does the 'VIR Future Stay Plan' cost?

The VIR Future Stay Plan costs 5% of the total booking charges and is billed on the date you decide to take the plan out.

PLEASE NOTE: The VIR Future Stay Plan is NOT available to guests who have booked through AIRBNB, RedAwning, FlipKey, Booking.com or Expedia.com.

Reservation Cancellations and Changes

What is your cancellation policy?

All reservations require a USD $100 payment upon booking to reserve the unit for you. You can cancel anytime within the first 48 hours of booking your reservation with no penalty and receive your USD $100 back in full. No questions asked.

You may cancel your reservation at any time after the initial 48 hour period, however, all amounts paid up to the date of cancellation are non-refundable.

The VIR Group is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms.

What if I need to shorten my reservation?

You may shorten your reservation at any time, however, all amounts paid are non-refundable and you will not receive a refund for the days you do not use. The VIR Group is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms.

What if I need to change my dates?

You may change the dates of your reservation at any time subject to availability. If the new dates are more expensive, you will be responsible for the price differential. No refunds are given for less expensive dates. The VIR Group is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms.

What if I need to extend my stay?

You may extend the dates of your reservation at any time subject to availability. You will be responsible for the price differential for the longer stay. The VIR Group is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms.

Standard Guest Benefits

VIP Guest Benefits

  • Instantly save 10% on your booking accommodation charges
  • Repeat guest discount of 15% on future bookings
  • Complimentary unit upgrades (subject to availability)
  • Complimentary late check out to 12:00pm (subject to availability)
  • Complimentary early check in (subject to availability)
  • Complimentary mid-stay housekeeping clean (on stays 14 days or longer)
  • Complimentary private pool heating
  • Pre-release information on new homes launching on the market
  • Exclusive access to VIR’s partner discounts (rental cars, restaurants, theme park tickets etc)

Standard Guest Payment Schedule

  • Day 1 – USD $100 due to hold unit
  • Day 3 – 25% of the total booking charges due
  • Day 30 – 25% of the total booking charges due
  • 14 Days Prior to Arrival – remaining balance due

VIP Guest Payment Schedule

  • Day 1 – USD $100 due to hold unit
  • Day 3 – Full remaining balance due

In order to be a VIP and receive VIP benefits, guests must accept the above payment plan

How do I become a VIP?

Easy, once you have booked simply contact our team on (800) 757-5719 and let our team know you’d like to upgrade your reservation to a VIP reservation. They’ll talk you through the rest.
